About The Hollywood Rockbusters

How it started

Established in 2016, The Hollywood Rockbusters was started by a group of friends who had been playing music together for over 10 years. Before this band they'd all been band mates in various original bands and formed a tight group who enjoyed a similar musical style. After releasing various albums and E.P's and chasing their rock dreams, family commitments spun their attentions in a new direction.

Looking for something new to get their teeth into, still with a huge passion for playing in a band but without the relentless need to promote original music, The Hollywood Rockbusters were formed! Trying to avoid being another generic covers band, the idea of playing songs from the movies really appealed to everyone. All being film nuts, the guys jumped at the opportunity to perform classics like Danger Zone from Top Gun, Power of Love from Back to the Future & Eye of the Tiger from Rocky III !

As soon as the word was out, gigs started coming in and The Rockbusters repetoire of songs grew. The groundwork for an epic and entertaining rock/pop band was well and truly established.
